Canine Soulmates Rescue Group is an all-volunteer, non-profit, no-kill dog rescue and advocacy organization, composed of people from every walk of life. We are committed to a common interest of helping save lives and finding abandoned, abused, neglected, and lost dogs the right “forever home” for their specific needs. We want to bring an end to the homeless animal tragedy and believe the euthanasia of millions of animals each year is an unacceptable solution. In addition, we believe that our actions within the rescue have a direct effect on this, and we can create change. To this end, we so pledge with love and hope.

We are an all-breed dog rescue volunteer group based in Keller, TX with volunteers throughout the DFW metroplex who love dogs and want to help those who end up homeless through no fault of their own. We help these dogs get forever homes. We foster the dogs in private foster homes, not shelters while looking for their forever families. We then carefully select a family living in the DFW Metroplex area who will be committed to care for the dog for its lifetime. The dog is posted on Petfinder, Facebook and will be taken to different venues to help us find a family looking to add a canine buddy to their family. As a non-profit we support our organization through adoption donations, donations from the public and generous donations from large corporate organizations.

We are only able to take in as many dogs as we have dedicated foster homes for.  We are always in need of committed individuals and families who would consider fostering and/or volunteering with Canine Soulmates Rescue.  Our rescue pays for all of the necessary medical expenses.  We ask the foster family to transport the dog to the events on Saturdays and to assist with vet appointments, if necessary.  Foster families provide socialization, love and some basic training while the search is made for a “forever family.” We focus on stray and shelter dogs who have no home. We educate people trying to re-home their unwanted dogs and try to help them help themselves.

Our events are generally held on Saturdays at Petco.  Please check our website or Facebook page for information on an upcoming event.  Dogs are also generally available for a private showing, if no event is being held, in a public setting.
