›› The Adoption Process
The adoptions process starts by visitng us and the dogs at a "Meet and Greet" or by arranging a meeting to see the dog privately. We request that you be prepared to answer quite a few questions. We want to place our dogs in permanent homes, so we will consider you amd you home very carefully before placing a dog with you. If all parties agree, a home visit is made and the dog may or may not be placed in the new home at that time.
Our Adoption Donation is $140.00 for young dogs under 4 years. Mature dogs 4 and over Adoption Donations are handled individually. This covers getting each dog current on their vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed/neutered and helps relieve the associated with fostering them.
Paperwork: A Pre-Adoption form is required to be filled out be each perspective family and can be down loaded here.
Foster to Adopt:
In some cases a perpective family may take a dog home for a trial period. Thus fostering the dog while evaluating is a fit as a member of the family. During this time the dog will remain a foster and is still eligible to be adopted by others.
If you need to get in touch with us for questions about one of our dogs, our email contact is listed below. We will reply within two business days.
