Our group is made up of only volunteers, and everything we need to run to the best rescue we can, we get from donations. If you are interested in helping us out, there are many different options available to you.

›› How can I help?

We are always in need of volunteers and foster families. Other than staff, we are in need of materials that help us care for and adopt all of our wonderful dogs. We have listed our needed items here. Feel free to bring any of these items to us during our adoptions or contact any us to set up another time.

›› What do volunteers do?

Volunteers help us out during our Adoption Days by walking the dogs, refilling the water bowls, cleaning the kennels, and answering questions of prospective adoptive families. For teens that need community service hours, we are a perfect place to get them.

›› What is expected of foster families?

Because all of our dogs are kept in temporary homes until their adoption, we are limited in the number of animals we can save from euthanasia in the shelters by the lack of foster families who will keep a pet in their home until a permanent home is found. Foster families are the core of our program.

A foster family is matched with an animal in our program, and in turn the foster family is to socialize, occasionally provide basic training (name recognition, come, sit, etc.) and give them a comfortable loving temporary living place.

The foster family is responsible for bringing the dog up to all adoptions. We generally arrive at 10am to set up, and depending on the weather, we start breaking down around 4:30pm.
