Canine Soulmates Rescue Group is a all-volunteer, non-profit, no-kill dog rescue and advocacy organization, composed of people from every walk of life.

We are committed to a common interest of helping save lives and finding abandoned, abused, neglected, and lost dogs the right "forever home" for their specific needs.

We want to bring an end to the homeless animal tragedy and believe the euthanasia of millions of animals each year is an unacceptable solution. In addition, we believe that our actions within the rescue have a direct effect on this, and we can create change.

To this end, we so pledge with love and hope.

Why Foster…

Why foster?   A question many of you have never considered before.   

Why foster, because your small act of sharing your life with an unwanted dog can save someone’s life even a person’s who may need that connection of the canine kind to help heal the soul.

 

Why foster, because the rewards far outweigh any minor inconvenience of having 4 more legs underfoot, if there be any inconveniences.

The reward of seeing someone make a connection with a dog is one of the best I’ve seen.  The reward of seeing a canine make at recent widow’s time alone easier and not really alone fills my heart with joy.

 

There is another reward that keeps me understanding what patience and forgiveness really are, to see a dog once abused and neglected be so willing to reach back out to people and not hold it against them is the true definition of Grace to me.

How many of us can say that we are capable of this?

 

When you can have experienced the feeling of accomplishment after seeing a little one so paralyzed with fear that they cannot even walk turn around with a few days of TLC it is beyond words and your life will be richer for it.

 

Lastly, to see a dog go from a street dog on to a higher calling of being someone’s Service Dog because of your help is the greatest reward, by far.

 

So get involved and offer to foster a lost, unwanted, soul called Canine.

Altho' his heart may break in two, his love will still be whole,
Because God gave to every dog an understanding Soul!
